The King Has Left The Building

I have noticed this empty Burger King location just off Exit 29 of Interstate 75 in Corbin, Kentucky for a couple of years.  I thought it would make for a neat photography project.  What happens when the King leaves the building?   I would love to get inside of this building!  Some might consider that trespassing though. I can vividly remember playing in the playground outside as a child and this very well could have been and probably was the first Burger King I ever ate at.  Enjoy!

The windows have been boarded up since closing. Until recently there was an 'available' sign on the gate.

I have strong reason to believe this building will soon meet the wrecking ball.  With the economy improving, the whole area of Corbin seems to be booming and this is a prime location along the busiest highway in the region.  Also, the fact that the ‘available’ sign has disappeared is highly suspect.
